This is a 5-day safari to the 3 most visited parks in Kenya; Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara with a stop in Lake Naivasha and Great Rift Valley along the way. It starts and ends in Nairobi and one can start with Masai Mara or Amboseli. Your accommodation will be in mid-range lodges.
Pick up from JKIA airport or your hotel/residence in Nairobi and drive to Amboseli National Park arriving at Oltukai Lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. It is famous for its big game and great scenic beauty whose entire landscape is dominated by Mount Kilimanjaro.
Depart Amboseli in the morning after breakfast and drive via Nairobi to the floor of the Rift Valley with a hot picnic lunch en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. You'll be arriving for your afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approximately 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon, and many species of plains game. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
Depart after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara National Reserve arriving at Sarova Mara Game Camp in time for lunch. Have an afternoon game drive that introduces this vast game-filled reserve. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.
Spend two days in Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant). Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with the option of visiting a local Maasai village. All meals and your overnight stay are at Sarova Mara Game Camp. Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
